Von Balkon und Fenster blicke ich auf den m\u00e4chtigen Strom. Baumst\u00e4mme segeln vorbei. Die Schiffe, die noch fahren, ziehen hoch und breit \u2013 cinemascope \u2013 durch meine Wohnr\u00e4ume. Hinter dem Platanenast etwas links im Vordergrund des ersten Bildes sieht man noch die gr\u00fcnwei\u00dfe Signalstange aus dem Wasser ragen. Bei normalem Wasserstand steht sie frei, dreimal so hoch, auf der ebenso freien Buhne aus Basaltsteinen. Dr\u00fcben auf dem anderen Ufer sieht man das Kilomterschild 742 schon tief im Wasser. Heute nahm ich diese Ansicht noch einmal auf. Der Rhein ist weiter gestiegen. Die Signalstange ist verschwunden, weggerissen. Jeden Tag f\u00e4hrt ein Arbeitsschiff auf dem Fluss und kontrolliert. Anstelle der versunkenen Stangen, hier gr\u00fcnwei\u00df dr\u00fcben rotwei\u00df, werden schwimmende Signalbojen verankert. Schon seit Tagen gibt es einen regelrechten Hochwassertourismus. Mit Kind und Kegel, mit Hund und Roller bev\u00f6lkern die Massen den Rhein.
