(Rhombendodekaeder oder Ikositetraeder) Im weichen Glimmer kann er perfekte Kristalle ausbilden. Chemisch gesehen ist er ein Mangan-Aluminium-Silikat. Die Mandarin-Granate sind sehr gesucht. In Heidelberg fand ich vor 9 Jahren diese sch\u00f6ne Stufe bei einem Mineralienh\u00e4ndler.
