Er ist\u00a0 etwa 6 cm lang, vielleicht ein Hauer von einem ungl\u00fccklichen Schwein oder ein Hakenzahn von einem ebenso ungl\u00fccklichen Hengst, die vor etwa 250 Jahren in den Rhein st\u00fcrzten. Wer wei\u00df, vielleicht wurden fr\u00fcher auch die Fleischerabf\u00e4lle einfach in den Rhein gekippt. Fossil ist der Zahn wahrscheinlich nicht, aber er klingt beim Anschlagen wie ein Kiesel. RW fand das Exemplar an einer durch das Niedrigwasser trockenliegenden Buhne an Kilometer 742. <em>(dazu auch RWs Beitrag vom 25.
